Description:
This class will focus on the beauty of decorating with meringue. Learn how to make various types of meringue, when to use each type and create delicate embellishments such as stylized flowers, foliage, mushrooms and cake panels. Making cake decorations from Meringue is a delicious way to help cake decorators/commercial bakers make decorations that are not only beautiful, but enjoyable for their customers to eat, without prohibitive pricing. Decorations made from meringue are “meant to be eaten”, much unlike decorations made from gum paste, royal icing, and rolled fondant. They are always well received by our gluten-free customer, as well as our customers who just love the crunch of the Meringue! *Basic piping skills required
