Description: Have you ever wondered how to transform high quality chocolate into a delicious modelling medium, perfect for covering cakes and creating beautiful decorations such as hand-crafted chocolate roses, ruffles and pleats?

During this one-day workshop students will be taught how to make both white and dark modelling chocolate and learn how to wrap their cakes in this delicious and versatile chocolate paste. This class is perfect for design students who wish to explore the many ways modelling chocolate can be used to create delicate fabric like ruffles,bows, and fans as well as their own unique custom designs. Students will also learn how to use colours and lustres to enhance the look of their cakes.

Prerequisite: B1: Baking & Buttercream or equivalent, DC1: Introduction to Cake Decorating.

Cancellation Policy: Full payment is required at the time of booking for all classes. If paying by cheque, it must be received two weeks prior to the start of the first class. Students are responsible for ensuring there are no scheduling conflicts when enrolling in two or more classes. If you do not attend the class you are registered for, your payment will be forfeited. 7 days notice is required for class cancellations upon which a credit note will be issued and may be applied to future classes within a 6 month period. We do not provide makeup classes for missed sessions. Should a class be cancelled a full refund will be offered.
